Hello TOOHbies! Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I have you covered, no matter whether you’re buying for your own mother, your wife, your daughter, or your friend. As a maker, the only thing I like more than making is supporting other amazing makers. And Etsy is THE place for makers. To make Mother’s Day shopping super easy for you, I’ve rounded up the best Etsy shops for Mother’s Day gifts that have all the things that most women love.

Table of Contents

The best Etsy shops for Mother’s Day gifts that moms will actually love!

I can personally vouch for each of these shops as I have purchased from them myself. They are all created by talented makers who are also lovely humans and responsive to customer’s needs.

Handmade jewelry from CathyHeinzDesigns

I’m a frequent flyer at CathyHeinzDesigns (though usually I’m buying for myself). She is local to Maine and I’ve actually had the pleasure to meet her in person. She’s a lovely woman and a very talented metalsmith and jewelry designer. Her pieces have a really modern aesthetic with a creative twist. Prices tend to be $50 and up and are all high-quality, handmade pieces.

More handmade jewelry from Chocolate and Steel

Another shop I frequent very often is Chocolate and Steel. Based in Los Angeles, the shop is woman owned and operated and they have wonderful jewelry starting at about $60. They have these cool quote necklances (of which I own one!) as well as a lot of other really unique and creative pieces of jewelry. I just bought a pair of earrings from here for my sister for her birthday!

Hand sewn linen from Latvia at Mooshop

I honestly don’t know why anyone buys linen from anywhere except Etsy. Etsy is filled with sellers from the Baltic that have access to the very best linen in the world (in my opinion) and they hand sew their pieces. Mooshop, from Latvia, (not sure why it’s called that) has a lovely selection. I purchased a duvet here years ago that is expertly constructed and the most wonderful natural linen. She also sells drapery and even clothing. I would much rather support individual, entrepreneurial women who are selling directly rather than supporting big business at marked-up prices. Shabby chic ruffled pillowcases start around $23, duvets go for $150+, and a slip dress goes for a little over $90.

Porcelain flower wall art from MaapStudioArtDesign

These miniature wall art flowers are so beautiful! Yes, I own them. The outline is painted in gold – how cool is that?! These are handmade in the UK and go for about $200. There are some larger mouth-watering pieces in the shop that are truly works of art.

Illustrated tea towels from JennieBlueMaine

Another shop baesd in Maine, JennieBlueMaine makes the sweetest illustrated tea towels. I have a pig, a goat, a bunny, and a crow! She also makes ones of icons like Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The material and the illustrations are of high quality and wash very well.

And to all the mothers out there, enjoy your day!

About Author

Hi, I’m Larisa, one half of the Time on our Hands team. Despite living in suburbs and military bases in my youth, I always knew I was a country girl at heart. When I married my husband, Jon, we moved back to his home state of Maine where we’ve built a happy home in the woods and raised many fur babies including our 18.5 year old black cat, Gerry, and our three house bunnies, Albus, Jazzy, and James. My home is my haven and I love to work on projects that make it cozy and comfortable. There’s nothing I love more than a weekend of crafting, decorating, organizing, or just making something new! My favorite topics to write about are candles, crafts, and home décor. When I’m not making, blogging, or YouTubing, I work as a content strategist at a professional services firm.
